One Funny Lady
Whether on the page or on the stage, Deborah Kimmett is one funny lady. A 20-year veteran of The Second City, a Governor General nominated writer, an accomplished performer on TV and radio (CBC ‘s The Debaters, Winnipeg Comedy Festival) and a dynamic motivational speaker at conferences and universities across Canada this energizing humourist brings thirty years of wit and wisdom to the room. An author of two books, That Which Doesn’t Kill You and Reality is Over Rated, Kimmett who has a special interest in palliative care has produced and written a video called Walk a Mile in My Backless Gown. As well as written a full-length feature script on female prison guards, called Guarded, Kimmett steps into her audience’s minds relating to them with her signature wit and wisdom.
